Kinross's Andrew Campbell wins Lanark seniors

Andrew Campbell, a two-handicap Kinross player, won the West of Scotland Senior Open with rounds of 71 and 76 at Lanark Golf Club.

The 64-year-old finished a shot ahead of five players - Brian Smith (Kilmacolm) 76-72, Graham Cox (Pollok) 76-72, Alan Hogg (Dundas Parks) 75-73, Gordon MacDonald (Callander) 75-73 and Jim Watt (Edzell) 73-75. Ian Dickson (Lundin), playing off five, had the lowest net aggregate of 139 with net rounds of 71 and 68. He finished three strokes ahead of Jim Watt (3) (70-72) and Brian Smith (Kilmacolm) (3) (73-69).
