Kevin Kyle aims to end home win drought

Hearts striker Kevin Kyle has been satisfied with the Tynecastle side's results on the road - now he is desperate to sort out their home form.

The Gorgie outfit's three victories in the SPL so far this season have all come on their travels and Hearts fans have not seen their side win at Tynecastle in the top-flight since March. But leading scorer Kyle hopes to end that run of seven matches with victory against St Mirren on Saturday.

He said: "In three out of the four league games we've had at home we've been in front and I think this Saturday, if we can get an early goal we've got to capitalise it, go forward and get another goal.

"I think sometimes at home it can be harder. I know Hearts take a good away support but never as many as there is at home, and when we do go a goal up and there is 20 minutes to go or whatever, it can get a bit anxious and we start making mistakes.

"The away win on Saturday against Aberdeen was a massive one, that's going to give everyone confidence going into the two games at home against St Mirren and Kilmarnock and hopefully we can capitalise on that.

"If we can get the first goal then hopefully we can go on and get a few more and make it a nice comfortable win."
