Kenny Miller adds Turkey to list of Scots abroad

KENNY Miller's friends across British football last night lined up to wish him well for his Bursaspor. The former Rangers striker completed his £50,000-per-week move to Turkey, and his fellow-pros inundated his social networking site, TalentNation.com, with their wishes.

Former Rangers team-mate James Beattie may now find himself becoming a regular in Walter Smith's side in Miller's absence. He was first to wish his fellow-frontman well, saying: "Best of luck on the move abroad, Miller Man! Been a pleasure working with you. Sad to see you go, obviously, but I'm sure you'll be a huge success over there, too. All the best!"

Scotland pal Gary Caldwell posted: "Glad you got your move, mate! Enjoy the football over there."

Gavin Rae, a team-mate of Miller's with the national team and during his first spell at Ibrox, added: "Best of luck Kenny. It will be a terrific experience playing abroad."

Spurs skipper Michael Dawson wrote: "Hi, Kenny. Hope everything goes well out in Turkey for you and you keep banging in the goals!"

Celtic fan Glenn Whelan, of Stoke, got in on the act, posting: "Hope you're as much a success as you have been with Rangers."
