Keith hit six to stay one point clear in title race

KEITH maintained a one-point lead in the Highland League title race with a 6-3 win at Strathspey.

Craig McGovern opened the scoring for the Maroons in the first minute but a Derek Nicol own goal levelled matters after 17 minutes.

McGovern made it 2-1 on 27 minutes and, a minute later, Cammy Keith made it 3-1. Simon Hill pulled one back before the break but Keith netted again after 52 minutes. Matteus Bobrowski reduced the leeway on 71 minutes but two more for McGovern late on sealed it.
