Junior Cup holders Rose handed a home draw

HOLDERS Linlithgow Rose have been drawn at home against Auchinleck Talbot in the pick of the ties in the third round of the Emirates Scottish Junior Cup.

Dave Baikie's side beat Clydebank 1-0 at Prestonfield last month as they launched their defence of the trophy and will face another tough test against the Ayrshire giants.

Auchinleck won 5-0 at Dundonald Bluebell in the last round and will head to West Lothian on Saturday, November 27 (1.45pm kick-off) with high hopes of beating the holders.

Bonnyrigg and Newtongrange have also been handed home ties in the next round, against Pumpherston and Beith respectively.

So, too, have Edinburgh United, whose reward for an excellent replay win over Girvan last weekend is a visit from Arthurlie.

But Bo'ness, last season's Super League champions, and this season's Premier Division pacesetters Broxburn United, have both been handed away ties.

A trip to Glasgow to take on Yoker awaits Bo'ness while Steve Pittman's Broxburn are up against Culter.
