Jordan Findlay joy after final-round charge

British boys champion in 2004 Jordan Findlay from Fraserburgh unearthed a splendid last-round charge to win the North-east District Open amateur stroke-play championship at Inchmarlo Golf Club, Banchory, yesterday.

The Buchan man had rounds of 72, 69, 69 and 68 over the par-70 woodland course for a two-under-par total of 278, one shot clear of Bryan Innes, Conor O'Neil and Scott Crichton.
