Jeffers and Ross are let go by Motherwell

FRANCIS Jeffers and Maurice Ross are among 10 Motherwell players confirmed by the club as departing this summer.

Both players were first-team regulars after being signed by Stuart McCall in the final months of the season but neither will be at Fir Park next term.

Winger Steve Jones and Gavin Gunning are also leaving following the expiry of their loan spells but manager Stuart McCall is hopeful of re-signing Blackburn defender Gunning.

Captain Stephen Craigan and influential midfielder Steve Jennings have both been offered new contracts, with both players expected to sign when they return from holiday.

Esteban Casagolda and Angelis Charalambous are leaving following unsuccessful season-long stays, while Steven Meechan has also been freed along with under-19 trio Liam Sloan, Gavin Griffin and Bradley Halsman.

Second-choice goalkeeper Lee Hollis has been offered a new deal along with youngsters Jamie Pollock, Steve Howarth, Tom Bradley and Ross McKinnon.
