Jambos coach Locke hopes to have stars in his eyes

HEARTS first-team coach Gary Locke is hoping the Tynecastle side can unearth a star of the future at the Gary Glen Summer Coaching Courses.

But it might not only be football talent that shows itself in the ranks of the youngsters who take part.

Because, while the courses focus on football, Hearts are planning to include something a bit different this year with performing arts coaching, electric guitar lessons and hip-hop dance workshops on top of the more usual ball skills training and goalkeeping camps.

Community coach Paul Greig is running the six, week-long courses available throughout the school holidays, starting on Monday and running through until 13 August.

Youngsters who sign up for the courses will have a chance to meet one of their heroes as first-team striker Gary Glen will be making an appearance and passing on tips.
