Ice Hockey: Braehead Clan look to continue successful streak

BRAEHEAD Clan go into tonight's clash at Scottish rivals Edinburgh Capitals boosted by their comfortable home win over Dundee CCS Stars.

Bobby Chaumont's glory treble in the 5-1 scoreline on Friday night means the league rookies climb to fifth place in the ten-strong Elite League with 12 points.

And ambitious Clan coach Bruce Richardson eyes this game as potential road win.

The coach was unhappy at aspects on Friday's win and he said: "We did not play at our best, but we won the game."

Meanwhile, Fife Flyers travel to Solway Sharks tonight in the Northern League.
