Hutchie Vale honoured on 70th birthday

HUTCHISON VALE, one of Edinburgh's most famous youth football clubs, enjoyed a Civic Reception at the City Chambers last night to mark its 70th anniversary.

At the event, attended by around 130 people, Lord Provost George Grubb paid tribute to the volunteers at the club for their dedication over the years.

Mr Grubb said: "There cannot be many football clubs who can claim to have had seven internationalists playing for their country."
