Hockey: Wildcats get their claws into top spot

Only three men's Division 1 National league games were played on Saturday and a devastating 10-1 win for Western Wildcats over Edinburgh University put them top of the table.

Grange moved into third place with a 6-2 win over VWS Dundee Wanderers at Dundee, while Menziehill beat ANM Hillhead 6-2.

In Division 2 CALA Edinburgh stay top with a 4-3 win over Granite City Wanderers, while second placed Watsonians were held to a thrilling 3-3 draw by Harris FP.

In the ladies Division 1 Western Wildcats won 1-0 over Giffnock and Edinburgh University drew 2-2 with Hillhead.
