Hockey: Steven Glass hits a high five as CALA demolish Waverley

A first-half nap hand by CALA Edinburgh's new recruit Steven Glass, signed in the pre-season from Dundee Wanderers, knocked the stuffing out of Waverley Inveresk Trinity as CALA romped to an 8-1 victory in the opening fixture of the Subway national league division two.

CALA started proceedings at Meggatland with a minute's silence for former player Richard Docherty, who died recently at the age of 27.

The home side's other goals came from David Guy, Mike Rae and Karl Clarke.
