Hockey: 'Sonians need to climb Stepps

WATSONIANS face a crucial clash with Dundee Wanderers on Tayside tomorrow, which could have a big say in whether they beat the drop from hockey's Division 1B.

The Tipperlin side have slipped to the bottom of the table following a remarkable resurgence by Glasgow-based Stepps.

'Sonians have only won one of their six games since the league split and are now two points behind Stepps, who entertain Hillhead tomorrow, although the Edinburgh side have two games in hand.
