Hockey: Scots brush Belgians aside with ease

Scotland Senior Women enjoyed a fine 3-1 win over Belgium in Auderghem in the first of a three-test series. Indeed the win could easily have been even more emphatic if more of the many chances created had been taken.

Milne Craig Western's Morag Mclellan won her first senior cap and could not have asked for a better way to begin her international career. However the Scots did get off to a poor start, conceding within the first five minutes, but levelled quickly through Louise Baxter. Ailsa Robertson put the Scots ahead in the second half before Linda Clement dived full length to scramble the third.
