Hockey: MacKenzie back in the mix as Inverleith kick off their league campaign

INVERLEITH will be without Paul Ritchie and Andy Malcolm when they face Grove Menzieshill in their first
Division One game of the new indoor season tomorrow

However, Adam Mackenzie may make his comeback after the Scottish international defender missed Sunday’s Presidents Cup win over Grange at Peffermill through injury.

Coach Steve McCurry said: “Other than Paul and Andy, we have a full squad to pick from. With only 13 league games this season, it’s even more important to get off to a good start. Our target is simple, to improve on last season. We want to finish at least second in the league and reach the Scottish Cup Final. Menzieshill are a very good side and will make it tough. We beat them in the Presidents Cup recently, but both teams had a number of key players missing so we won’t read too much into that game.”
