Hockey: Grange face tough Arthur McKay Scottish Cup semi with Glynhill Kelburne

AFTER his charges saw off Glynhill Kelburne in a dramatic penalty shoot-out in the semi-final of the Arthur McKay Scottish Cup last year, Grange coach Colin Clarke is hoping for a similar outcome at the same stage of this year's competition.

"Kelburne are streets ahead of the rest in Scotland, so I'm not underestimating the challenge that's facing us," said Clarke. "They do have weakness and we'll try to target them, but it'll take a big performance from Grange to get through to the final."

The other tie sees Western Wildcats take on Inverleith, while in the women's semi-finals the two unbeaten league sides Grove and Milne Craig Western are favoured to reach the final at the expense of Orange Sox, Western's second string, and VWS Dundee Wanderers respectively.
