COVE Rangers stayed a point ahead in the Highland League title race after thrashing Nairn County 5-1 away from home.

Danny Milne was the star for the Aberdeenshire side, netting a double to strengthen the two-in-a-row champions' quest for a third straight title, although Buckie won through at Keith to maintain their pursuit.

Keith ended the match with nine men after Andy Shearer and Derek Nicol were dismissed.
