Hibs: You're the Boss

DAVE JOHNSTON thinks Hibs should win their Scottish Cup fifth-round tie against Montrose comfortably and the 28-year-old mechanic from Lochend is confident boss John Hughes won't underestimate the opposition.

What would your team and formation be? I would give Danny Galbraith, Alan Gow and Paul Hanlon starts, with Derek Riordan playing up front.

What are Montrose's strengths and weaknesses? They've got Andy McNeil in goals and he will no doubt want to show he's better than we think. Boss Steven Tweed would love to claim our scalp as well and they'll be on a high after getting their first win at the weekend against Berwick. Weakness-wise, they're part-time and you'd expect our added fitness to show.

How will you counter their strengths and exploit their weaknesses? We've got a lot of firepower up front and, while McNeil can be a great keeper on his day, I wouldn't expect the Montrose defence to be able to cope with us.

What do Hibs have to do to win the game? In the last round, we let Irvine Meadow come at us in the first half hour and that made us a bit nervous. I hope Yogi will tell the team to try and get an early goal and put Montrose away within the first 20 minutes. We've got the talent to do that and I really hope we do.
