Donnie Munro, Leith: "I think that when you look at Hibs performance at Tynecastle the first thing that stands out is that it was the was the wrong formation to start with.

"I would never have put Lewis Stevenson at left back instead of Murray.

"That is mainly because you need a bit of bite there and the first goal proved that in terms of how it came about.

"Stack maybe made a mistake in the first instance but you have to remember that the cross came down from that side which Stevenson was covering.

"We found ourselves two goals down in quick succession and I don't think there was really a way to change this at half-time because Hughes has made his point at going with Murray and Bamba at centre half.

"We should have stuck with Hogg in there at centre half as we have done in recent weeks.

"It was the wrong formation to start with against Hearts and that was pretty much irrecoverable. That was about it I think."

Bryan Phillips, Marchmont: "I think a lot of us came here in more trepidation rather than hope given how we have been performing lately.

"Granted, Hearts have not been much better but within about ten minutes you could see that only one team looked interested.

"Why on earth we seem to be refusing to dig in and make that extra yard to get challenges in is beyond me. A lot of our players seem to think the season is winding down now and it will be their holidays soon, forgetting that we have a long way to go and European football is far from guaranteed for next season yet. I like Lewis Stevenson but he isn't a left back, and Thicot was all over the place on the right.

"Bamba is a shadow of the player who went to the African Nations and Miller and Stokes just seem to be going through the motions.

"What did Paul Hanlon do that meant he had a place on the bench rather than in the starting line up?

"I have no idea what is going on at Easter Road but someone needs to give a few home truths.

"I just hope Hughes and Rice can somehow get through to the players in time for the Ross County game and prevent this season turning into a damp squib, which it is really at risk of doing if we don't pull our socks up here.

"We are struggling and I'm not sure how we get out of this slump. Let's hope the management know how."
