Hibs: Your Views

HIBBIES have plenty to say after the massive derby disappointment.

Janis Massie, Dunbar: "The fans should think again next time they slag off Colin Nish. We missed him holding the ball up. And how Anthony Stokes gets a whole game, I will never know."

Lewis Hall: "I couldn't believe Lewis Stevenson played left-back. How many times must Hibs managers insist on playing him in this position? He is far too small and never won a single header against David Obua. Steven Thicot should have started in the centre of defence alongside Sol Bamba, with Ian Murray and David Wotherspoon the full backs."

Jim McLennan, The Inch: "Hearts wanted to win it more than us. There is no excuse for our performance. We were poor and, if play like that at Dingwall, we are not going any further in the Cup and that would be disastrous."

Neil Wilson, Prestonfield: "We were lucky it was only 2-1. I thought things could not get any worse after last week but they did."

Steve McKenzie, Bellevue: "A pathetic display from Hibs. Any team with Stokes, Derek Riordan, Liam Miller and Murray should be top three but we won't even make the top four. We were lucky it was only 2-1."

Damien Sawers: "Yet another season we were flying but, as soon as the Christmas tree comes down, so do Hibs. Maybe Yogi's touchline ban will show him how bad we are at the basics."
