HIBBIES are very disappointed with their team and manager after the Cup exit in Dingwall.

Gary, Edinburgh: "We have been so poor this season under John Hughes. We got so much luck in the early part of the season and now it has run out. I'm so disappointed."

J Macleod, Leith: "Beaten and out-fought by a weak Hearts team, twice unable to see off a First Division side in the Cup and sliding down the table. We've ridden our luck in a lot of games this season and now, when it matters most, it would seem we just don't have the fight."

Alan Morton: "An absolute disgrace. Yogi calls himself a Hibs supporter. He wants to try paying to watch the rubbish that has been dished up this season. Interest free or not, I will be giving serious thought to next year's season ticket."

Steve McKenzie, Bellevue: "As one of the Hibbies up in Dingwall, I would like to say a big thank you to the Hibs management and players for wasting everyone's time with yet another gutless performance. Not beating Ross County over two games is bad enough but to be outplayed in both is something else."

Nicky Lee, Leith: "A shameful night for Hibernian FC. Derek Adams outwitted big Yogi."

Another Unhappy Hibbie: "Walter Smith won the Co-op Cup final with his tactical team selection and clever substitutions. Hughes lost the quarter-final with his usual questionable team selection and poor substitute timing. Sorry John, but the fans must question just what is going on at the multi-million pound training facility. I think Graham Stack got it right when he said that the boys may think they are better than they really are."

Duncan Simpson: "Now I know how my friend's mate feels. He's a Clyde fan, or he was. He now surfs, goes out in all kinds of weather and loves it. He gave up on Clyde because 'they gave up on him'. That's how I feel with the Hibs – they gave up against Ross County. Anybody fancy a scarf?"

George Gibb: "Good luck to Ross County, the better team won. Maybe the shock will give the players the kick they need for the rest of the season."

Brian Ross: "Graeme Smith should never have been dropped in the first place. He is a better keeper in all departments."
