Hibs: Your Say

Sandra Bell, Dunfermline: "It was a fantastic result in a tricky away game, which will hopefully get us back on the winning track after the horrendous results that blew our season apart last week. Our strikers Derek Riordan and Anthony Stokes, did what they are paid to do and scored the goals that knocked the fight out of Falkirk. Sol Bamba doubled his tally for the season as he prodded home from two yards, his second goal of the season ironically in the same goals and at the same ground as

"We aren't kidding ourselves that we are back in top form because for much of this game we were pegged back, and time and time again the front players didn't hold up the ball, the midfield was lightweight again and overran for most of the game. Graham Stack in the Hibs goal was our best player, as time and time again he saved from all angles and this allowed us to build on his performance and we got, at last, the three very welcome points."

Graeme McCarthy, Currie: "There was loads of pressure on the players to perform after the week we had just endured. We had hours of time travelling back down from Dingwall to asses the problems, but Yogi's team didn't reflect my changes if I had been in charge of team selection.

"We found a Falkirk team fighting for their lives. They took the lead but before that Stack had made a wonder save to keep them at bay. The storm was weathered then Deek did his usual trick by striking home a free kick from twenty-five yards minutes after we went behind. A few minutes later we were ahead as a Stokes' strike took a deflection to wrong-foot the Falkirk keeper. On cue, big Bamba stole in at the back to score from a Wotherspoon cross, and at this point we started playing with the confidence that has been missing in recent games. The biggest problem was the half-time whistle which came before we could add to our lead, as we threatened to over run the Bairns.

"On to the second half, it was night and day as Falkirk suddenly realised that they need to win games if they want to stay in the SPL. From the kick off they pounded us and it was bad luck on their part that they didn't take any of the multiple chances that they created. We defended well enough and in the end the points were ours. But the main reason we won the game was Graham Stack who made save after save and, after his error last week, he was my man of the match. I will give the referee a three out of ten, he was giving bookings for nothing and his all round display was poor."
