Hibs: Your Say

Nick Jarvis, Marchmont: "Never in my years of following Hibs home and away have I had this feeling of disgust about my so-called heroes in green.

"They finally proved they have no interest in playing football for John Hughes and Brian Rice. Rice on the touchline and Hughes in the stand must be fearing for their jobs as they watch our team give up without an inkling of any fight.

"We were harsh victims of two penalty awards but Hamilton really didn't need any help from the referee as they totally overran us. The back four were all over the place, the midfield was not competitive and we were so frail up front that we were never going to win. A fantastic performance from Hamilton who, with a collection of low-paid players and young laddies, showed us up big time.

"I have major fears for Hibs in the last five games as I can't see any way we will get any more points if Hughes doesn't have a massive turnaround in the players' attitudes.

Mike Miller, Haymarket: "Humbled by a team from a small town called Hamilton, and not by a narrow margin but by a gap that was so massive that I fear for the love of life – my football team.

"I am hurting but are the players who pull on the famous jerseys? They don't seem to care and, if they do, they aren't showing it.

"We again had the same small midfield players who were getting overrun by journeymen footballers. We have a defence who certainly do not play as a unit and up front we have the envy of most clubs with the pairing of Riordan and Stokes, but the two of them are played so far apart that it really is time the boss was shown the door.

"Congratulations to Hamilton who gave 100 per cent for their club. How I wish the Hibs players would do the same and actually knuckle down and produce something worth watching.

"The first goal was a soft penalty, retaken, the second was again another soft penalty, the third was a screamer and the fourth was a lovely bit of skill that took the lad round Stack as though he wasn't there.

"In between that we had a Nish goal, that was offside, the same player fails from six yards and we miss another penalty and that was all we were offered from Hibs on a very low day in the club's history.

"Hughes will have to adapt if he wishes to save his job as the season is falling apart at an alarming rate.

"There are five games to go and if Hearts end up above Hibs then the fans will really be calling for another change of manager."
