Hibs: Your Say

Hibbies had plenty to say after the draw with Inverness Caley.

Dave Goodall, Bonnyrigg: "A bad result from a promising performance. The defence looked solid with Bamba and Dickoh an impressive partnership. Dickoh must not, however, be a replacement for Bamba. Grounds and Hart were steady. The midfield passed well but were too slow in their release of the ball. Riordan had one of his best games but De Graaf and Nish were weak links. I cannot understand Thicot replacing Hart when Murray was available.

Paul Griffin, Stockbridge: "For years we have seen an influx of continental players who are surplus to requirements at some very ordinary clubs. We, as fans, are asked to believe that these players are the answer to our mediocrity. The U-19s won both league and cup but are by and large ignored."

Kevin Kelly, New Town: "If we don't get the win next weekend against Hamilton then I think the pressure must start to mount on Hughes. He needs a home win to get the monkey off his back."

Another fan wasn't so pleased by the financial figures . . .

Alan Morton, Longstone: "So Rod the accountant is happy that the club has made a profit once again. Whoopee! He says: 'The club is in control of its own destiny". The only reason Hibs made just 100,000 profit is because we have no more star players to sell off to the Old Firm."
