Hibs: Your Say

Hibs fans have strong views on John Hughes' exit - and who should replace him.

David O'Rourke: "We are now looking for our ninth manager in 11 years. Yogi has to take some blame for failing with Hibs, as some of his teams and formations were baffling. However, there are certainly a few players at Hibs who need to take a long, hard look at themselves."

Scott Thomson, Tranent: "We should not get another former Hibs player as manager. Let them stay heroes in our hearts. We shouldn't go for Jimmy Calderwood either. They should take a chance like they did with Tony Mowbray but also someone with a good knowledge of football and experience. Hughes is not totally to blame, the players are also responsible. Best of luck, Yogi."

Neil Wilson, Prestonfield: "Whether Yogi was the right man or not is not the point. Managers at Easter Road are not getting long enough to build a team. We will go looking yet again down the lower leagues as that's our budget. Hopefully, they will find someone who has earned a shot at the job - someone maybe like Derek McInnes or Derek Adams from Ross County, who at least play the game the way it should be."

K Smith, Leith: "Steve Clarke's name pops up because he's done well as a coach but can we afford him?"
