Hibs: Your Say

HIBBIES are not happy with the players after a demoralising derby defeat.

Bob Fleming, Musselburgh: "Hibs now have training facilities and a stadium up there with best but one of the worst squads of players in the club's history."

Edward Peters: "The current crop of players are an embarrassing bunch of underachievers. Colin Calderwood MUST clear the dressing room of its rotting core and freshen things up."

Steve McKenzie, Bellevue: "The players should be ashamed of that performance. You will not come across a bigger bunch of impostors anywhere in football. Rod Petrie never spends any money but gets the credit for us being out of debt. Who cares? I support a football team, not a balance sheet. Also, the fans who were throwing the missiles? Absolute idiots."

Stevie Burns, Stenhouse Place West: "If Colin Calderwood keeps Hibs in the SPL it will be the greatest achievement of any Hibs manager for at least 40 years, given the absolute shambles he has inherited. As for John Hughes 'analysing' the game from the Sky studio. Thankfully, as I was at Easter Road, I didn't have to listen to his 'expert' opinions - the only reason he should be appearing on TV is to issue a full apology to the Hibs supporters, and Calderwood, for assembling the worst first-team squad in living memory."
