Hibs: Yogi sure to be back at Easter Road, insists Hart

MICHAEL HART today claimed he wouldn't be surprised to see former boss John Hughes back at Easter Road as a fan because he'll find his love for Hibs too strong to resist.

Yogi lost his dream job almost a fortnight ago on the back of a miserable start to the season which has left Hibs just one point off bottom spot in the SPL table before today's crucial clash with Kilmarnock.

But, while admitting his ex-manager will be hurting after his shock exit, Hart predicted Hughes will find it impossible to stop himself going to matches. And, as he ponders his future, the Hibs star believes Easter Road could well be one of Yogi's first stops.

He said: "Yogi is the most passionate football manager I have ever met. He has a desire for Hibs to do well. When he came in to say his goodbyes he told us not to let our heads go down and wished us all good luck.

"He told the boys that if ever they need any advice then he'll be at the other end of the phone - and he meant it. I had a chance to speak to him before he left but all he said was 'That's football, it happens'.

"There's no doubt he'll be hurting but I know he will be hoping we win and it won't surprise me if he is back watching games before long.

"He's a very big Hibby, he got a bit of a hard time from the fans but he is very passionate about the club.

"He wants Hibs to win more than anyone and, while it might be a bit too early at the moment, I won't be in the slightest surprised if he's back watching from the stand."
