Hibs Under-19 side ready for Craigroyston test

Hibs, under the guidance of youth coaches Alistair Stevenson and James McDonagh, send their Under-19 side to meet East Seniors First Division outfit Craigroyston at St Mark's Park tonight (kick-off 7pm.) "We have played Craigroyston in the past two seasons and the pitch at St Marks Park is always in great condition," said Stevenson.

"They have been good competitive games played in the correct atmosphere.

"This is basically the start of a new team although players like Lewis Horner, Thomas Flynn and Scott Smith have been involved with our first team. There will also be some new faces for a game which we are all looking forward to."

Craigroyston were beaten 5-3 by Junior outfit Arthurlie last weekend and will have several trialists on view as they begin their campaign, aiming to challenge for promotion to the Central Taxis Premier Division after missing out last season when they finished in third position. Admission is 3 for adults and 1 for concessions.
