Hibs' new stand ready

HIBERNIAN will have their new East Stand open for the first home game of the season against Rangers - a full month ahead of schedule.

The new facility will welcome over 3,000 season ticket members to their new seats, while allowing an additional 3,500 to buy tickets for some of the best vantage points in Easter Road, for the visit of the SPL champions on Sunday, 22 August.

Hibs' chief executive Scott Lindsay said: "There have been numerous people and companies involved and everyone has worked beyond the call of duty to get the new East Stand on line in time."
