Hibs hit goal trail to lift Clubs Cup

Hutchison Vale and Edina Hibs had their chance to shine on the big stage at Tynecastle Stadium in the South East Region under-15 Federation of Hearts Supporters Clubs Cup Final.

Despite a fairly even first half, Edina Hibs showed the quality that has led to them leading their division and ended up convincing winners on the night, coming back from an early Hutchie goal and scoring seven of their own, including a hat-trick from man of the match Dylan Clark.

Hutchie's lead came in the opening ten minutes when Connor Dalziel tapped in after Edina keeper Daniel Kerr parried a Dylan Moore shot.

It took until the 22nd minute for Hibs to open the floodgates. Azad Okan passed the ball into the area from the left byline and Clark rifled a powerful half volley past goalkeeper Jack Roden.

Clark put Hibs into the lead in first-half stoppage time, volleying home after a period of head tennis. The greens scored again five minutes after the restart when impressive left midfielder Okan cut in to the area and beat Roden from 12 yards out.

Clark turned provider for Hibs' fourth, dribbling the ball down the left wing before picking out Kieran Owens in the area who had a simple finish from close range.

Owens scored again after 65 minutes, volleying his goal from a corner.

Edina's sixth goal was soon to follow when Jordan Brown's shot from the edge of the area was too powerful for Roden.

Clark completed the rout and his hat-trick in the last minute with a solo goal that epitomised his skills.
