Hibs: Final Answer

WAS bringing Graham Stack back due to his rapport with Sol Bamba the right decision?

Mike Newlands, Leith: "Basic answer is no – wrong decision. Didn't lose us that game a week past Saturday but I think trying to accommodate Bamba is a joke. He's not the player that left us to go to Africa as recent results have shown. Graeme Smith will be rightly upset at being dropped and I think John Hughes has misjudged this one. Maybe he will learn from it but he has been in the game as a manager far too long to come out with excuses like that for accommodating one player."

Maggie, Edinburgh, from the East Stand (no more): "It's what's right for the team that counts and if Stack and Bamba work better together and we get the results we want then it's the right team. It's just brilliant that we now have options for great goalkeepers. In Yogi we trust."

Sharon Pettigrew, Pilrig: "Bamba is the star man, the internationalist, and must be played at all times."

David McCrane, Leith: "It was a big mistake Yogi coming out and saying that. It could be seen as saying that Bamba and Smith can't play together. Smith has played well since signing and Bamba left his team to play in a Mickey Mouse competition in Africa. Graham Stack, although he was playing well unfortunately got injured. Smith came in, played very well and was in possession of the gloves, so it was a big mistake by Hughes."

Steve McKenzie, Bellevue: "It was another strange decision made by Yogi. Why must the team change just to suit Bamba? First we had Hogg out to right back and now a change in keeper. It would be all right if Bamba was playing well, but he has been shocking since returning from the African Nations."

Ian Bell, Dunfermline: "If we get results then the personnel used is immaterial. It's competition for places that counts as this is the only way to ensure that the players try to keep high standards."

Duncan McNealy, Wardieburn: "Smith and Bamba had a horrendous start as teammates with Bamba scoring an own goal past him in the first few minutes. If Stack plays as well along with Bamba just as they did in the first half of the season then everything will be forgotten. Smith will have to fight hard to get his place back."
