Richard Perry, Inch: "My view is that if it's true then he has completely lost my backing and is not the man to take us forward. And I was one of his most loyal backers."

Beate Pannasch, Sachsen, Germany: "I can only presume he's trying to give the current squad an incentive for reaching the finishing line, as wholesale changes really are what are required. If I'm wrong, and he genuinely believes what he said, then the first change I'd make would be the manager.
