Heriot's sign Greenock's young Aussie

HERIOT's are set to make a second capture from Greenock with the signing of young Australian cricketer Adam Lockhart-Krause.

The Brisbane-based batsman will be unveiled as one of the Edinburgh side's two overseas players for the new season.

Lockhart-Krause joins Sean Weeraratna in making the switch east from the Greenock club to Goldenacre.

Weeraratna, who has spent the past two winters playing in Australia, is returning to his former club as player-coach.

Heriot's, relegated from the top flight of the SNCL for the first time last season, launch their bid to bounce back at Falkland on Saturday, 1 May.
