Henderson leads Stew-Mel to win

SKIING: Stewart’s-Melville College’s senior team have been crowned Scottish dry-slope champions.

Paul Henderson completed the longer senior course with an exceptional time of 23.57 seconds, the quickest run of the day. Meanwhile, captain Elliot Ball finished in second place with a highly impressive time of 24.21, almost two seconds faster than the nearest competitor. These, coupled with strong performances from Oscar Ball and Calum MacAllister, secured first place for the team, with a combined time almost ten seconds better than the runners-up.

They will now take part in the British Schools Ski Racing championships at the end of November, also at Hillend.
