Car, Elphinstone: "An excellent win for Hearts against Killie on Saturday and it just got better with Hibs being gubbed and Celtic put out of the cup. A good day to be a Jambo. Well done, JJ, Billy and Gary and, of course, the players."

Wee Keith, Albion Terrace: "Since JJ's return, you can see a difference in the style of play and commitment given by the players. Kingston, Zaliukas and Wallace all played their hearts out but the lad in between the sticks at the moment, MacDonald, was superb again. JJ says he needs time to build a team that can split the Old Firm. Well, after the last couple of performances, he is well on his way to doing this."
