J Wilson, Musselburgh: "Hopefully, its not all a false front between Romanov and JJ because the two of them both have that streak to their personalities that Hearts need and they both want to bring through young, hungry players that will give their all for the shirt. And hats off to Eggert Jonsson, a brilliant display again last weekend whilst playing out of position."

Michael Knight, Newtongrange: "What a chance for Hearts to finish fourth. If we can do that and finish above Hibs it will wipe the smile off all their faces."

Out-of-contract players have got others talking ...

Jason Kerr, Dalkeith Road: "One good game in 12 months from Larry Kingston is no reason for Hearts to base their plans for next season around him. If he has a reasonable World Cup, he will be away from Tynecastle anyway. With a new contract for Michael Stewart yet to be settled, he has to prove to any doubters that he is worth a contract. we need him at Tynecastle."

Stephen Ward, Gilmerton: "I think Jim Jefferies has to look closely at the playing staff out of contract in the last five games and see who is willing to fight for a place and a new contract."
