Hearts post-split fixtures to start at Ibrox

HEARTS will begin their post-split SPL fixtures at Ibrox next Sunday before hosting Motherwell at Tynecastle and then travelling to Easter Road to face Hibernian in the season's final Edinburgh derby.

League officials have released the post-split fixtures, which sees Jim Jefferies' side play three home and two away matches to round off their 2009/10 campaign.

Starting next Sunday, 18 April, they confront Rangers in Glasgow in a match which kicks off at 12.30pm and will be televised live by Sky Sports. The following Saturday, 24 April, Motherwell visit Edinburgh before Hearts meet Hibernian at Easter Road on Saturday 1 May. The derby will also be screened live, this time by ESPN.

Hearts finish the season with two home fixtures against Dundee United, at 7.45pm on Wednesday 5 May, and Celtic, at 1.30pm on Sunday 9 May.
