Hearts name Balogh as goalkeeper after Kello injury

JANOS BALOGH will return as Hearts goalkeeper against Aberdeen on Saturday after first-choice Marian Kello was ruled out by a fractured wrist.

The Slovakian sustained the injury saving a shot in training and MRI scans have confirmed a fracture, which means out-of-favour Balogh is set for his first match since 6 December.

"He (Kello] will obviously miss out this weekend against Aberdeen," said Hearts manager Jim Jefferies. "We'll be assessing next week to see exactly how long he'll be out for. The good news is it is not a serious fracture at all, it's really pretty minor - right at the top of the wrist - so hopefully he'll be back soon."

Reserve goalkeeper Mark Ridgers is likely to start on the substitutes' bench on Saturday with Hearts' under-19 goalkeeper Dean Lyness in contention for a place in the matchday squad.

Ismael Bouzid returned to training today and Gary Glen and Michael Stewart are available after injury and suspension respectively. Spanish winger Suso remains doubtful with a thigh complaint and midfielder Ian Black is definitely out.
