Hearts: Final Answer

Can Jim Jefferies get Larry Kingston back playing his best football for Hearts?

Keith Johnson, Gilmerton: "I don't feel that we'll ever see the best of Larry Kingston again. It's been far too long since he did anything decent at Tynecastle and I fully expect him to move on in the Summer."

Daniel Campbell, Inch: "I'd be very surprised if Larry has any future at Hearts. He'd need to take a huge pay cut and I doubt that JJ would stand for the lazy, lifeless performances we have seen from him."

Jim Bernard, Fountainbridge: "I feel that Larry still has the potential to be a big player at Hearts but I just can't see it happening for him. He has had too many big injury problems in the past couple of seasons."

Ken Mackay, Roseburn: "If anyone can get the best out of Larry Kingston, Jim Jefferies can. He is a great man manager as we saw in his last spell at Hearts and I am sure Larry will respect him. An on-form Kingston would be a tremendous boost to a team that is lacking in a goal threat."

Gordon Darcy, Sighthill: "I don't believe that Jefferies will be able to get the best out of Kingston. I don't think that Larry has any interest in playing for us and I'd be amazed if anyone would be sorry to see him leave."

Steven Glen, Tollcross: "Larry hasn't shown any commitment to the club for a long time and I feel that JJ would be better off focusing on trying to bring in new players who want to play for Hearts. It's time to move on the big earners who contribute nothing."

Derek Mathers, Westfield: "I feel that there was no respect between Kingston and Laszlo and, hopefully, JJ can do a better job of establishing a relationship with Larry and I think that he can. A fit Larry Kingston would be a great asset for the club."

Martin Boyce, Liberton: "I don't expect to see Larry Kingston in a Hearts shirt again. He has been more interested in playing for Ghana than for Hearts and always seems to be injured when we want him. I would not offer him a new deal."

Gary Thomson, Craigmillar: "It'd be great for Hearts if JJ could get the best out of Larry Kingston but I won't hold my breath. I feel that we should look to move him on and bring in a striker with the money we'd save on his wages."

John Gray, Restalrig: "It all depends on Larry himself. He has the ability but I have my doubts about whether he can apply himself. This is definitely his very last opportunity to do something for Hearts and we will need to see whether or not he takes it. He has a lot to prove to the fans."
