Hearts: Final Answer

We asked who Hearts fans would pick as their first-choice forward line...

Gordon Jarvis, Saughton: "I think that, when everybody is fit, our best front two would be Calum Elliot and Gary Glen. I feel that the other young players are still a bit raw."

Steven Parkinson, Millerhill: "It'd probably be Elliot and Glen but I think that emphasises how badly we need to bring in a new striker in the summer – preferably a target man like Kevin Kyle."

Chris Allen, Dalry: "My first choice pairing would be Scott Robinson and Glen. Both have pace and will score goals. The others have had too many chances and not delivered already."

Paul Skinner, Newington: "It would be Elliot and Glen for me. Elliot isn't a goalscorer but he is a target man and Glen could feed off him."

Liam Wright, Danderhall: "I think that Elliot and Glen is the best partnership we have. They could work well together when they are fully fit."

John Saunders, Danderhall: "Elliot and Robinson would be our best partnership but I have my doubts about Elliot's fitness in the long term."

Simon Yuill, East Lothian: "I would go with Elliot and Robinson. Robinson works harder than Glen who needs to sort his attitude out and forget his goal at Easter Road."

John Deans, Penicuik: "I think that Elliot found his level when he was on loan at Livingston so it would have to be Glen and Christian Nade who, for me, are the best of a bad bunch."

Ian Chambers, Liberton: "I would love to see Robinson and Glen play together. I think that they would have a good understanding of each other's game and they could gel well."

Mark Barrie, Currie: "The young players need time so, for me, it would be Nade and Elliot. It's far from ideal but it is the best we have."
