Hearts: Final Answer

We asked if regular meetings with Hearts' hierarchy will help or hinder Jefferies

Harry Somers, Newcraighall: "I don't see any problem with it as long as Jefferies is allowed complete control of team affairs with no interference. There's no harm in Jefferies and Fedetovas meeting more often."

Graeme Paterson, Gilmerton: "With the end of the season approaching, more meetings between them is what I would expect anyway. Hopefully, we'll be quick off the mark in the transfer market when the transfer window re-opens."

Derek Mallon, Gilmerton: "If Jim Jefferies is happy with it, I don't see a problem in them meeting regularly. Hopefully JJ can maintain a good relationship with Vlad and take us forward."

Rab Howard, Dalry: "I don't know that face-to-face meetings are all that important. With the technology available, issues can still be discussed without Fedetovas coming to Edinburgh."

Stewart Riley, Westfield: "As long as Fedetovas and Romanov aren't interfering with Jefferies' job, I don't think that more regular meetings can hurt the club."

Ryan Croft, Longstone: "I feel that the board is making more of an effort to communicate and that can only be good. Hopefully, JJ and Vlad will agree on the way forward for Hearts."

Peter Duncan, Riccarton: "If it's easier to meet because there are direct flights between Kaunas and Edinburgh now, why not take advantage of that? It makes sense that they will meet more often."

Ian Wall, Dalkeith: "There will be plenty for Fedetovas and JJ to discuss over the next few months so regular meetings will suit both parties – especially JJ. Hopefully, he will talk Vlad into bringing in some new players in the summer."

John Dalgleish, Barnton: "Under previous managers, I'd have been wary of news like that but I don't think that there is any chance of JJ being Romanov's puppet so it doesn't really worry me."

Alan Irvine, Leith: "It shows that Vlad is still interested in events at Tynecastle. If he wasn't, he wouldn't be sending one of his closest allies to Tynecastle like this."
