Wes Foderingham - 7
One stray kick aside another solid performance from Foderingham. A couple of smart stops in the first half before a second half in which the ‘keeper made a fair dent in reading War and Peace.
James Tavernier - 7
Hearts didn’t have the players to trouble the space behind the right-back which allowed him to play on the front foot. Delivered a fantastic cross for Kenny Miller’s second.
Ross McCrorie - 6
Didn’t enjoy the physical battle with Kyle Lafferty and Esmael Goncalves but settled and used the ball well in the second half.
Danny Wilson - 6
Similar to McCrorie, Wilson was flustered as Hearts upped the pressure in the first half but grew as the game progressed and could be seen lighting a cigar with about 15 to go.
Declan John - 7
Is he an upgrade on Lee Wallace? Leaves space behind but a great outlet on the left side to carry the ball and has pace to recover.
Daniel Candeias - 7
Drove Rangers forward with surging runs, showing no effects of Pedro Caixinha leaving.
Ryan Jack - 6
A quiet afternoon as he went under the radar. Nothing flashy, just kept the ball moving. Didn’t get sent off.
Jason Holt - 9
Despite Miller’s brace the best player on the park. Dropped down the pecking order but arguably the best performance from the centre of midfield by a Rangers player this season. Energetic, aggressive, contributing in both phases of the game and helped with Rangers’ transition.
Josh Windass - 7
Quiet first half but always appears on the cusp of doing something special. Took his goal well to secure the win having beaten Rafal Grezlak, answering the age old question: what would a traffic cone be like at full-back?
Kenny Miller - 8
What can you say? He failed to make straight-forward passes, grew frustrated, scored with a scruffy deflected effort, ran all over the pitch and scored a fine header. The ultimate Miller performance.
Alfredo Morelos - 8
Failed to score but his all-round play was excellent as he went up against the formidable Christophe Berra and came out on top. His control, turn and pass for Miller’s opener was perfect. Deserved a goal.
Jamie Barjonas (for Kenny Miller, 84) - N/A
Allowed Miller to get a standing reception from the 14,100 away fans.
Eduardo Herrera (for Alfredo Morelos, 87) - N/A
Game was finished and petering out.
Ryan Hardie (for Josh Windass, 90) - N/A
No time to do anything.
