Hanlon on loan

HIBS defender Paul Hanlon has been loaned out to St Johnstone. The loan is for one month initially, and the 18-year-old is expected to go straight into the team to face Clyde at McDiarmid Park.

Hanlon, who recently signed a five-year contract with Hibs, said: "I'm delighted to be here. It was a great boost getting a long-term deal from Hibs, but I got a taste of first-team football this season and now I want more.

"Hopefully I can get games here and if everything goes well and the clubs agree, maybe the loan could be extended."
