Hamilton hat-trick for Hanagan
The Malton-based jockey is racking up the miles in pursuit of his quest to become champion jockey and is in the middle of a brilliant purple patch. He got the day off to a great start by partnering Mayson (1-7 favourite) for his boss Richard Fahey in the Weatherbys Bank Maiden Stakes.
The Fahey-trained Gritstone (10-11 favourite) then found a gap up the rail in time to land the Weatherbys Bloodstock Insurance Handicap, while Nigel Tinkler's Dubawi King (2-1 favourite) won the Racing UK Sky 432 Handicap.

But with the champion jockey suspended, he has taken full advantage and moved seven clear.
At Kempton today, Calahonda can make the most of a switch back to the all-weather in the digibet Casino Handicap. The four-year-old has in the past proved her mettle on turf, but with three of her five wins coming on the sand, it is probably fair to say she is a better performer on artificial surfaces. However, she still showed plenty of ability back on turf when second at Windsor last time, just failing to find the necessary extra gear to catch Ela Gorrie Mou.
Calahonda had previously shrugged off two disappointing runs for Paul d'Arcy when winning a Wolverhampton claimer and while this race represents a much tougher task, the Haafhd filly just looks to be hitting top form.

Hide AdNajoum is one to note in the European Breeders' Fund Maiden Fillies' Stakes.
Saeed bin Suroor's runners are performing a little better now and this Giant's Causeway is certainly bred to shine on the track.
A half-sister to an American Grade One winner, Najoum should be more than capable here.
Chepstow offer a decidedly average card but Lindoro can make the most of the opportunity in the John Smith's No Nonsense Selling Stakes. The four-year-old has failed to sparkle in five starts so far this year but he was not beaten far in fourth last time and dropped 3lb by the handicapper, he must have a chance.

Hide AdIrish trainers enjoy plenty of success on their raids to Perth and Bear Witness can further enhance the statistics with success in the Wallace Whittle Consulting Engineers Handicap Chase. Twice a winner in point-to-point company, he has yet to strike under Rules but a decent run at this track last month bodes well.
