Haddington suffer setback

HADDINGTON'S South Division title hopes suffered a setback last night when they lost 2-1 at home to Dunbar United.

Steve Girdwood gave Dunbar the lead in the first minute with Calum Hill adding a second ten minutes later. Steve McDonald pulled a goal back for Haddington in the second half but it was three points lost never to return.

Sauchie, who a couple of weeks ago looked like overhauling Livingston at the top, dropped another two valuable points in a 1-1 draw at Blackburn. Tony McLaughlin put Blackburn ahead after five minutes but the visitors drew level when Jamie McGuigan equalised.
