Guardiola extends Barca stay by a year

Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola has signed a new contract to remain at the club for at least one more season following a meeting with new club president Sandro Rosell.

Guardiola agreed the deal with former Barca president Joan Laporta in January but Rosell had hoped to tie the coach down for longer. The 39-year-old's new deal will keep him at the Nou Camp until 30 June next year.
