Greenock knocked out

GREENOCK were sent tumbling out of the Scottish Cup in a shock defeat to Stirling yesterday.

A brilliant all-round performance by Australian-born Josh Edwards means Division 1 Stirling will go into the hat for today's quarter-final draw. Edwards struck an unbeaten 106 as the underdogs overhauled Greenock's 186 with six wickets and almost 12 overs to spare.

In the only other tie to beat the rain, last year's beaten finalists Dunfermline Knights registered an easy win at Renfrew.
