Grange's European hopes out of their hands

GRANGE'S chances of promotion look shaky as they drew 1-1 with Roma on the second day of the European Club Trophy in Cardiff.

Roma took the lead from the spot in the first half, but Grange retaliated almost immediately at a penalty corner when Colin McIver switched the ball to Robert Barr and his venomous flick gave the keeper no chance.

Grange must beat Welsh side Whitchurch today and hope other results fall into place to reach tomorrow's final.
