Grange maintain pole position after breezing past Uddingston

Grange's bowlers stepped up to the mark on Saturday as they bowled Uddingston out for just 116 to pave the way for victory in the SNCL Premier Division.

The fact that Uddingston had scored 341 against them earlier in the season must have been on the leaders' minds as they headed through to Bothwell Castle on Saturday morning. However, they put in a clinical performance to stay top with just two matches remaining.

Seamer Giles Holmes, who had gone for 84 runs from 10 overs in that loss at Raeburn Place, got revenge on Uddingston's batsmen as he led the way with 3-13. Medium pacer Mike Powell also took three wickets, with Paul Hoffman and Amir Gul top scoring for the hosts with 30 each.
