And Craig Harper, Grange's player/coach, knows that they can't afford any slip-ups.

He said: "We're getting closer to Kelburne and the point last weekend underlined that.

"We dominated the first-half but it was roll reversed in the second.

"Clydesdale have been going well but we're up for the challenge." Elsewhere, Edinburgh University, who are ninth with only three points from ten games, entertain third-placed Western who have 19 points.

Inverleith, who are sixth, visit rock-bottom Aberdeen, who have only two points from 11 outings having failed to win a game this season.

In Division Two, CALA Edinburgh, who have won all 13 of their fixtures, travel to fifth-placed Falkirk who are 17 points adrift. Third-placed Watsonians are also on the road, this time at lowly Greenock, while Waverley Inveresk Trinity, who are second bottom with eight points, entertain second- placed Stepps, who are on 34 points.

On Sunday, Edinburgh University host Aberdeen in a crucial basement battle while Inverleith travel to Grove Menzieshill in the quarter-final of the Scottish Cup.
